Halle Berry has become a mother for the first time at the age of 41, after giving birth to a 7 lb. 4 oz. girl. The Oscar winner who only recently said, "I want to stay pregnant forever" reportedly delivered the baby at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles on Sunday morning.
The father is 32-year-old Canadian model Gabriel Aubry, Berry’s partner of two years. The pair met while shooting a Versace advertisement in Los Angeles in 2005.
After announcing her pregnancy last September, Berry told Oprah Winfrey that she and Aubry tried for a baby unsuccessfully for some time, but one negative pregnancy test followed another, "and finally, after about 35 tests, we finally got a positive test."
